Ryan is a co-founder of Moda Midstream II with over 20 years of energy-related experience in operations, technical and commercial activities. Prior to co-founding Moda II, Ryan served as Chief Commercial Officer at Limetree Bay Refining where he led all business development efforts and maintained customer relationships. Before Limetree, Ryan held senior commercial roles at BP, including Senior Crude Oil Originator with responsibility for the negotiation, transportation, and storage of long-term crude oil purchase agreements to support BP’s Supply and Trading business. While at BP, he also served as the lead for third party refining supply and offtake transactions. Ryan was also a Crude Asset Trader for the BP Texas City Refinery and held several process engineering roles at BP’s Texas City Refinery and BP’s Castellon Refinery in Spain, before becoming the Refinery Operations Coordinator for the Texas City Refinery, where he was responsible for setting the overall commercial direction for the refinery.
Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
