Jen started her legal career as an Associate in the Capital Markets and M&A practice group at Vinson & Elkins, L.L.P. in Houston, as part of which she represented Oiltanking Partners, L.P. (NYSE: OILT) in its initial public offering in July 2011.
Following the IPO, Jen joined Oiltanking’s in-house legal team, serving as Assistant General Counsel. In addition to her work on the management of the legal function in general, Jen was also instrumental in the diligence process and ultimate negotiation which led to the sale of Oiltanking Partners to Enterprise Product Partners in October 2014. Following the sale, Jen joined Enterprise as Assistant General Counsel, managing a range of legal functions, including SEC compliance, corporate governance, litigation management, M&A transactions and commercial agreements.
Jen joined Moda Midstream as Assistant General Counsel in 2020, ultimately becoming General Counsel, responsible for all legal matters at Moda, as well as playing a significant role in the $3.0 billion sale of the Ingleside Energy Center to Enbridge, Inc. in 2021.
Jen received her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University.
