Prior to co-founding Moda Midstream II, Bo was a co-founder of Moda Midstream, where he served as Chairman, President and CEO of Moda. While at Moda, Bo led the acquisition and development of the Ingleside Energy Center, as well as the subsequent $3.0 billion sale of the facility to Enbridge in 2021. At the time of the sale, the Ingleside Energy Center was North America's largest crude export terminal, which loaded 25 percent of all U.S. Gulf Coast crude exports in 2020 under Moda’s ownership and control.
Prior to co-founding Moda, Bo served as Senior Vice President of Commercial & Business Development of Oiltanking North America, where he played a key role in the 2011 initial public offering of Oiltanking Partners, L.P. (NYSE: OILT). As a member of Oiltanking’s commercial group since 2003, Bo was instrumental in negotiations which eventually led to the sale of Oiltanking Partners in 2014 to Enterprise Products Partners, in a transaction valued at approximately $6.0 billion.
Bo started his career in Conoco’s liquid pipeline and transportation group and Conoco’s natural gas and gas processing group. Bo received his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
